Occupation: R. Shneor Salman son of Baruch of Liadi (5505-5573) has founded Habbadic Hassidism, was called The Old Admor, The Rabbi, The Rabbi of Ladi , or Baal Hatanya. In 1798 a.d. he was arrested by the authorities in charge of finance sending to Turkey. On Kislev 19th 5559 he was released and this date was fixed by Habbadic Hassidism as Feast of Redemption. His older son Dov Ber of Lubavitch was The Middle Admor.
